Since the 1980s, the National Association of Black Accountants Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter has been dedicated to empowering minorities and underrepresented groups pursuing careers in accounting, finance, information technology, and business-related fields in Saint Paul and the greater Twin Cities area. Guided by NABA's foundational motto of "Lifting As We Climb," the chapter embodies a community-centered philosophy that emphasizes mutual support, professional development, and collective advancement. Over more than two decades, the organization has cultivated meaningful relationships with local corporations, universities, high schools, and community organizations, recognizing these partnerships as essential to achieving lasting impact. The chapter provides avenues for members to develop both technical expertise and interpersonal skills while remaining relevant in an ever-changing professional landscape. Beyond individual member growth, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter is deeply invested in community service, offering members opportunities to volunteer their talents and contribute to the Saint Paul community. The organization recognizes that sustainable success requires engagement from individuals, community representatives, and corporate partners working together toward shared goals. By fostering an inclusive environment where professionals and students can connect, learn, and serve, the chapter continues its mission of addressing the professional needs of its members while inspiring the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of accounting and finance.
