The Black Law Students Association at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law represents a cornerstone of student life and community building at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. This student organization embodies the law school's institutional mission to prepare, challenge, and inspire students to make a meaningful difference in the world while advancing important ideas through the legal profession and society.
Since its establishment within Hofstra Law's vibrant student community, the Black Law Students Association has provided essential peer support, mentorship, and professional networking opportunities for its members. The organization operates within a law school that has demonstrated a genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through dedicated programming and support for diversity student organizations.
