Witnessing first-hand the challenges and difficulties faced with the sudden passing of a beloved family member, Jack realized the need within the Chinese community to become better educated in estate planning strategies.
In 2020, Jack was recognized as the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Asia-Pacific Interest Section of State Bar of Texas. Previously in 2017, Jack was also recognized for his commitment to representing low-income families when he received the 2017 Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year from both the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
Jack currently serves on the board of the Legal Aid of Northwest Texas as the Treasurer and Finance/Audit Committee Chairman; the board of the Dallas Asian American Bar Association; and the board of the World Affairs Council of DFW.
