Founded in 1979 in Austin, TX, the Austin Black Lawyers Association emerged from the vision of fifteen African American attorneys who recognized the need for professional support and advocacy within their community. Founded in 2004, 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont represents a dedicated coalition of African American men committed to affecting positive change throughout Beaumont, TX and the surrounding Golden Triangle area. Rooted in principles of faith, humility, and community service, the organization brings together men willing to sacrifice personal interests and egos for the collective benefit of the African American community. The chapter operates as part of the national 100 Black Men of America network, which serves thousands of youth annually across the country and internationally. What distinguishes 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont is their comprehensive approach to youth development—combining mentoring relationships with education support, health and wellness initiatives, and economic empowerment opportunities.
