The northeast chapter of the Texas Indo-American Physicians Society (TIPS NEC) is a 501(c)(3) organization, committed to the Service to Humanity. We serve the interests of over a thousand physicians from various specialties and sub-specialties in the practice of medicine.
TIPS-NEC has more than 600 physicians from DFW area and surrounding towns. TIPS-NEC is a regional sub-chapter of AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin). AAPI is the second largest medical organization that serves the interest of over 100,000 Indian origin physicians. The mission of TIPS is trifold: Service, Education & Networking. You all will have an opportunity to participate in our various health fairs throughout the year. Every year we provide State of Art CME in partnership with TMA to provides latest updates in Medicine. We have Quarterly Networking Events. Once a year we organize a family event to include kids.
American Muslim Women Physicians Association (AMWPA) is an organization of Muslim women physicians, dentists and medical students. Muslim women physicians of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW) came together in 1999 and thought that there was a real need to help the community to empower women through improving their health, welfare and to bring Muslim women doctors, dentists in communication with each other for encouragement and camaraderie.
The vision of this organization is to promote the health, welfare and education of women.
