For over thirty-five years, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley has been a cornerstone organization for the APA legal community in Palo Alto, California and across Silicon Valley. Since 2014, BlackFemaleProject has been creating intentional community spaces in Berkeley, CA where Black women's voices are uplifted, experiences are affirmed, and collective wisdom is shared. Founded on the belief that by studying how Black women have navigated and thrived despite structural barriers, we can empower the next generation to achieve their self-defined success, this organization has grown into a vital resource for professional and personal well-being. BlackFemaleProject operates from a deep commitment to centering Black women in conversations about workplace culture and inclusion, recognizing that these spaces are rare and necessary. Through member spotlights, community events, story collections, podcasts, and wellness initiatives, the organization has built a supportive network where Black women can connect authentically without judgment, share their professional journeys, and learn from one another's experiences. BAYAN USA represents a vibrant coalition of Filipino organizations rooted in Los Angeles, CA, dedicated to serving as a bridge between overseas Filipinos and the progressive movement in the Philippines. The organization brings together students, scholars, women, workers, artists, and youth in a unified effort to advance justice, dignity, and self-determination for the Filipino people. As the first and largest international chapter of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN Philippines), BAYAN USA carries forward a legacy of anti-imperialist struggle and community empowerment. The organization is committed to strengthening Filipino unity in the United States while actively building international solidarity with all peoples fighting against imperialism, feudalism, and corruption.
