The organization recognizes that while Afghan-Americans have historically gathered for celebrations and social events, few forums existed for addressing difficult topics affecting their community in the United States. Since transitioning from a conference-based model in 2019, AACO has deepened its commitment to supporting Afghan-American families through comprehensive programs that address education, health, housing, and social services.
