Founded in 1993, the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA) represents a thriving community of legal professionals united by a shared vision of inclusion, empowerment, and advancement. Based in Cerritos, California, APAWLA has grown into a meaningful organization that brings together lawyers, judges, and law students from across the state who believe in the power of collective action and mutual support. The alliance was born from the spirit of the Civil Rights movement, carrying forward the legacy of advocates who fought for gender and racial equality. Today, APAWLA's members represent the full spectrum of the legal profession—from those in solo practices to attorneys working in major law firms, from judges on the bench to legal students preparing for their careers. What unites this diverse group is a commitment to lifting up Asian Pacific American women in law and creating pathways for their success. APAWLA goes beyond professional networking by actively engaging in advocacy, education, and mentorship throughout the legal community and the broader Cerritos area. The organization recognizes that advancement in the legal profession requires more than individual effort; it requires community, support systems, and collective leadership development. Through its programs and initiatives, APAWLA creates spaces where women lawyers can find mentorship, build meaningful connections, and develop the leadership skills necessary to shape the future of the legal profession. For Asian Pacific American women lawyers and law students in California, APAWLA represents both a professional home and a movement toward meaningful change.
My aim is to assist people and businesses from all over the world to achieve their dreams in the United States of America.
I earned my law degree from UC Davis School of Law.
I lived as an immigrant for 7 years in Indonesia, where I taught American Studies and Creative Writing at a local university. This experience gave me great empathy in regards to the problems immigrants face in any society.
Although no immigration attorney can ethically guarantee outcomes, I can guarantee trustworthy diligent representation, powered by passion for both immigration law and your case.
Daniel Kim’s journey to becoming Orange County’s top car accident attorney started when he was a child. Daniel’s family raised him with a passion for helping others. That passion drove Daniel to become a lawyer, and it has never faded. Daniel’s law career has taken him around the world and back. As a paralegal in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, Daniel served in Seoul, South Korea, and Baghdad, Iraq. Thanks to his hard work and resiliency, Daniel was recognized as the top enlisted JAG member in the Asia Pacific region.
Back in Orange County, Daniel received his law degree and went to work serving his local community. Eventually his love of law brought him back to South Korea, where he served as an associate at one of the largest international firms in the world. Daniel founded the Law Offices of Daniel Kim to give the victims of motor vehicle accidents a better choice to defend their rights. Since starting the firm, Daniel has won hundreds of millions for his clients, and continues to play a hands-on role in every case the firm takes on.
