The Chinatown Family Resource Center Collaborative welcomes all families to join the fun with our community festival in celebration of children and families!
This event is FREE and OPEN to all from 11 am to 1:30 pm. It is sponsored by San Francisco Department of Early Childhood and it will include performances and fun, unique activities for families with children from 0-5 years old as well as 5-12+ years old.

Since its establishment in 1986 by Dorothy Huang, the Organization of Chinese American Women Silicon Valley Chapter has been a cornerstone of community advocacy and support in Saratoga, CA. As part of a larger national movement founded in 1977, OCAW-SVC embodies a deep commitment to advancing the needs and concerns of Chinese and Asian Pacific American women while celebrating their excellence, leadership, and contributions to society. The organization serves Saratoga and surrounding communities by creating spaces where Chinese American women can integrate into mainstream American society while maintaining cultural identity and pride. OCAW-SVC's approach is rooted in seven core goals: fostering mainstream integration, building self-respect and confidence, promoting cultural exchange, addressing contemporary women's issues, supporting immigrant adaptation, and collaborating with like-minded organizations. What distinguishes OCAW-SVC is its holistic focus on personal development and community transformation—working not just for individual members but for the broader Chinese American and Asian Pacific American communities in the Silicon Valley region. The organization recognizes that meaningful change requires both internal strength-building and external advocacy, addressing everything from educational opportunities to political representation. Through youth scholarships, community events, regular newsletters, and leadership development programs, OCAW-SVC demonstrates its sustained commitment to empowering the next generation while honoring the contributions of current community members in Saratoga and beyond.
