OIAC is an Iranian-American organization dedicated to the promotion of a free and democratic Iran where human rights are celebrated, where different religions traditions are honored, and where every Iranian citizen feels safe and able to pursue their individual dreams and aspirations.
Founded in 2017 by renowned diversity and inclusion activist Ms. Nushin Farjadi, Persian Cultural Circle of Colorado emerged from a shared vision among passionate Iranian Americans to celebrate and preserve Persian cultural heritage. What began as a grassroots initiative has evolved into a thriving community organization serving Colorado residents through meaningful cultural programming. The organization's foundation rests on the belief that cultural celebration strengthens communities and fosters mutual understanding across diverse populations. Operating entirely through volunteer efforts and member support, Persian Cultural Circle of Colorado represents authentic community-driven cultural work, where passion rather than profit drives their mission. Since its establishment, the organization has hosted numerous successful events that have brought together people from various backgrounds to experience the beauty of Persian arts, music, and traditions. The volunteer-run model ensures that every event reflects the genuine commitment of community members dedicated to sharing their heritage authentically. Persian Cultural Circle of Colorado stands as a testament to the power of cultural organizations built on grassroots enthusiasm and community values. By creating spaces where Persian traditions are celebrated and shared, the organization strengthens cultural bonds while enriching the broader Colorado community with artistic and intellectual traditions spanning thousands of years.
