CREW Denver was founded in 1984 — and has been blazing trails ever since. Today, our membership comprises some of the most influential, enterprising and energetic professionals in Denver. Women willing to step up, take risks and take the lead.
Our mission is quite simple: advance the success of women in commercial real estate. Our membership is, at once, diverse and inclusive. From young professional to senior practioner, CREW Denver creates and clears paths to success. New members are immediately given opportunities to engage and lead. Seasoned members are provided the opportunity to teach and mentor. Women in every career stage are empowered to take the lead in their own success — and that of the organizations and communities they lead.
We connect commercial real estate professionals in the Denver area, working together to:
- Create a dynamic and supportive environment that promotes advancement through knowledge sharing and networking
- Push the boundaries in every facet of commercial real estate through provocative dialogue among peers drawn from every discipline in the industry
- Provide educational programs which directly affect your day-to-day work and promote real change
- Encourage our members to be a force for activism and involvement in our communities
CREW Denver members are empowered by sharing their knowledge and experience with others in our community, while also learning from the insight and know-how of others. That’s why we focus our efforts on networking programs such as Dinner with an Icon, our power panel educational lunches and our annual Women of Influence awards. In growing and strengthening our network, we aim to create more opportunities for women in commercial real estate.
The Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance (formerly American Society of Women Accountants or ASWA) was formed in 1938 to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting and finance. Members of the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance and their companies benefit from practical resources and benefit programs that strengthen their professional growth.
Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance members tap into an extensive knowledge base of accounting and finance professionals with technical expertise to provide solutions for the most complex issues. Our members communicate both virtually and in-person through online discussion forums, national and regional conferences and chapter meetings. Many of our members have attained professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA, and CFP.
The mission of the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
The Denver chapter, one of AFWA's largest with over 60 members, not only connects those in accounting and finance in the Denver area to the activities of the national organization, but is very active locally as well. We hold monthly dinner meetings with an hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE), an annual regional conference offering 16 hours of CPE, scholarships for those in accounting and finance, and many other benefits.
The Colorado Women's Bar Association (CWBA) is the only bar association in Colorado dedicated solely to advancing women as leaders in the law.
We are an organization of women (and men who are our allies) who inspire change, appreciate our differences, and foster a supportive community.
The CWBA is a WELCOMING organization that many members describe as the “best part of being a lawyer.” We provide countless opportunities to meet with other members, network, and form mentoring relationships, and we hold unique programs for moms, seasoned attorneys, and new attorneys.
The CWBA is an ACTIVE organization that provides networking events, professional education opportunities, and community-focused projects for lawyers and legal professionals with all levels of experience, and engages our members in advocacy to support our mission within the legal community and the legislature.
The CWBA is a MEMBER-FOCUSED organization that provides a forum to exchange ideas and learn together and aims to advance every one of our members in her career.
The CWBA strives to be an INCLUSIVE organization with a shared culture that promotes the goals of accepting, respecting and valuing differences that include attributes such as age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, sexual identity, ability, language, family and economic circumstances, geography, and cultural background.
The CWBA is the largest diversity bar association in Colorado and is one of the biggest and most influential women’s bar associations in the country. The CWBA even has its own lobbyist to promote the rights of women and children in Colorado.
The CWBA’s mission has remained the same since its inception in 1978: to promote women in the legal profession and the interests of women generally. The vision of the CWBA's founders has resulted in decades of work promoting gender equality in the legal profession, preserving history, influencing legislation related to women and children, mentoring, granting scholarships for women law students through the CWBA Foundation, fighting discrimination, influencing the selection of judges, and providing training and education.
We are a Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to change women’s lives by providing stepping stones to self-sufficiency through social enterprise.
We believe that all women have the power to transform their lives through employment. So we hire women who are chronically unemployed and we teach them to work by making nourishing products. They learn to stand tall, find their purpose and break the cycle of poverty. Because when you change a woman’s life, you change her family’s life.

The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is the farthest-reaching network of change leaders focused on advancing innovation by correcting underrepresentation in computing.
NCWIT convenes, equips, and unites nearly 1,500 change leader organizations nationwide to increase the influential and meaningful participation of girls and women — at the intersections of race/ethnicity, class, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, and other historically marginalized identities — in the field of computing, particularly in terms of innovation and development.
Chartered in 2004 by the National Science Foundation, NCWIT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that creates a far greater impact than if institutions acted alone.
NCWIT leverages the skills and experiences of professionals with diverse backgrounds to further the mission and make sustainable change.
