The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta covers 6 southeast states Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee as well as the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Since its establishment in 1976, the Consulate has been working tirelessly to promote ties between the aforementioned region and Korea, as well as friendship between the peoples of both countries, the United States and Korea, for the past 45 years.
Specifically, the Consulate is here to protect overseas Koreans by providing various kinds of consular services, increase trade and investment with Korea, strengthen the cooperation between the two governments, enhance exchange and mutual understanding between the two peoples, and support the development of the Korean community.
The Consulate will continue to contribute to the development of bilateral relations between Korea and the United States with the Korean government, the Korean community, the United States government and its citizens.

The Korean American Bar Association of Georgia (KABA-GA) was founded in Aug. 2012 by a dedicated group of lawyers with the purpose of elevating the visibility of Korean American attorneys and law students within the Georgia legal community and to advance our professional development through mentorship programs, training, and community involvement.
KABA-GA is a welcoming group and endeavors to be the friendliest bar association in Georgia. We are a professional association open to lawyers and law students of all backgrounds who share our goal of connecting, serving, and having fun.
KABA-GA also maintains language and Korean legal resources, the most comprehensive database of Korean lawyers in Georgia, and information on other Georgia bar associations and KABA chapters. We are an affiliate of the International Association of Korean Lawyers (IAKL), a worldwide network of lawyers and legal professionals of Korean descent.
