The Albanian American Medical Society (AAMS) was established as a professional, humanitarian, non-profit organization.
Our Mission
1. To hold educational seminars in the Albanian populated territories of the Balkan Peninsula (Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro) thereby to offer on a charitable basis advanced training and medical education to the Albanian health care professionals, through scheduled lectures, discussions, publications and other means.
2. To create and maintain a fostering educational environment between the public academic institutions in the Albanian populated territories and those here in the US wherein its members may meet to exchange medical knowledge and participate in continuing medical education.
3. To create and maintain an educational exchange program for Albanian healthcare professionals to come to the United States so they may learn from the US healthcare system and in turn improve the healthcare system in their home countries. To assist students and other healthcare professionals who desire to train in the US by mentoring them and providing educational opportunities through observerships in the US healthcare system.
4. To provide charitable healthcare services to the underserved communities in both the United States and in the Albanian territories of the Balkan Peninsula through general medical checkups, consultations and education of patients on disease prevention through medical missionary work.
5. To plan a variety of public events through which these stated goals can be materialized.

Founded in 2010, the Albanian American Bar Association is the first organization of its kind to bring together law students, lawyers, and judges to promote the practice of law within the Albanian-American community.
Our networking events, professional panels, and educational resources, provide a platform for Albanian-American legal professionals to build relationships, expand their knowledge of the law, and explore the countless opportunities in the legal profession.
Based in Boston, a hub of higher education, we are especially committed to mentoring the next generation of Albanian-American lawyers who will go on to serve as advocates for individuals, businesses, governments, and their own communities.

Massachusetts Albanian American Society BESA
Created in November 2006, MAASBESA is an independent, non-for-profit organization 501(c)3 of the IRS tax code. It is organized solely for charitable and educational purposes, and is dedicated to promoting the well-being and progress of the Albanian-American community of Massachusetts.
Since its inception, MAASBESA has striven to bring the Albanian community together for important causes and activities. Through the tireless work of our volunteers we have made great strides in promoting our sense of identity as and Albanian Community, teaching Albanian language and culture to our children and bringing beautiful smiles to sick children.

Global Albanians Foundation
Global Albanians Foundation was legally established in June of 2018, as a separate organization in the USA and it received the 501(c)(3) status, although the idea for the Foundation derived from a convergence of thoughts from Germin, Massachusetts Albanian American Society (MAASBESA), and Albanian American Women’s Organization – Motrat Qiriazi (AAWO).
This provided the legal foundation for the GAF to begin to work on a larger scale with the large Albanian Diaspora to provide sustainable financing through crowdfunding and online donations for high impact and innovative Albanian not-for-profit organizations. We strongly believe that the not-for-profit sector in the Western Balkans plays a critical role in strengthening and advancing the civic, economic, and social development.
The Global Albanians Foundation connects nonprofits, donors, and companies in countries where Albanians live in every country around the world. We help local nonprofits access the funding, tools, and support they need to become more effective and promote Albanian philanthropy.
Our mission is to promote Albanian philanthropy in all countries where Albanians live, with particular focus on Diaspora Philanthropy that promotes growth and development in homeland countries by addressing important social, economic, and cultural issues.
Our vision is to develop an online platform for hundreds of thousands of people to support thousands of Albanian not-for-profit organizations in Albania, Kosova, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Presheva, and throughout the Global Albanian Diaspora in the future.
