The Minneapolis / St Paul Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) has been in existence since the 1980s with the goal of serving minorities in or planning to enter the areas of accounting, finance, information technology, and other business related fields. Esperanza United mobilizes Latinas and Latin@ communities to end gender-based violence. Formerly Casa de Esperanza, Esperanza United was founded in 1982 by a small group of persevering Latinas as an emergency shelter in St. Paul, Minnesota. We continue to ground our work in community strengths and wisdom, as we serve Latin@s locally and nationwide.
With nearly forty years of success, Esperanza United leverages the strengths of Latin@ communities to end gender-based violence. Founded and led by Latinas, we ground our work in listening to the community adapting to meet their changing needs. We work with the community, other service providers, and systems to ensure Latinas, their families, and our communities receive culturally relevant advocacy and quality, appropriate, and effective resources.

American Indian Family Center (AIFC) serves approximately 700 American Indian families each year with mental health, recovery, employment, housing, family and youth services. We are a community gathering space for the American Indian community in St. Paul and the East Metro and we are growing to serve more families!

The American Indian Family Center was initially started in 1994 under the umbrella of the Ramsey County Children’s Initiative. In 1995, a location was identified and the doors opened to families for services in 1997. Articles of Incorporation and temporary federal status as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization was achieved in 1997 with permanent status in 2001. The AIFC is now a recipient of multiple grants through private and public sources.

Jamy is the founder and owner of Barreau Legal, PLLC, focusing his practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business planning. A Port St. Lucie native, Jamy received his high school diploma from St. Lucie West Centennial High School and continued his studies at the University of Central Florida where he obtained his BS in Legal Studies. Then, Jamy earned his JD from Barry University School of Law. During his time at Barry Law, Jamy had the privilege of serving on the editorial board of Barry’s Law Review as its Research and Technical Editor. Also, in his time at law school, Jamy was honored to have his own work chosen for publication in the Barry Law Review Journal. Jamy is a proud graduate of Boston University School of Law's LLM in Taxation program. It is his hope to bring his expertise and knowledge in drafting, estate planning, and probate to assist his clients throughout Florida.
Ms. Nguyen (“win”) has over 15 years of legal experience. She is a cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law. Ms. Nguyen’s legal experience includes working for a Senior Judge, two prestigious law firms, for the state as a Prosecutor, and for Wells Fargo Bank as an Asst. Vice President in the Trust Department.
Ms. Nguyen focuses her practice on immigration law. However, because immigration law, criminal law, and family law are inexplicably intertwined areas of the law, she often represents clients on family and criminal law matters due to serious potential immigration consequences for the client. She is a unique attorney with the ability to communicate with people from professional, diverse, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
