Columbus Realtist Association (CRA) is a local chapter of The National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (NAREB). The Columbus Realtist Association embraces all of these facets that are part of the Realtist program throughout the nation. Realtist have made substantial contributions to the cause of democracy by working to provide housing for all without limitations or restrictions. Realtist are true to the dual mission of serving the under-served and developing creative methods of rendering such services. Realtist have become the voice and conscience of the proponents of equal housing opportunities for all citizens. This involves working on civic programs and in the political arena as well as in the business world. CRA is the only local professional organization in the field of real estate that is qualified and capable of addressing, articulating, and resolving the many problems encountered by minority home seekers in their quest for adequate and affordable housing. CRA fulfills a vital role in helping to meet the needs of adequate housing. CRA is committed to securing equal opportunity for all, as well as providing encouragement to those whose housing needs have yet to be realized. CRA continues to be a beacon of strength and knowledge building relationships and bridging the gap between new and seasoned real estate professionals. CRA will continue to pave the way for all home seekers to be adequately housed and to make our city and even better place in which to live.

The Ohio Realtist Association (ORA) is a state chapter under the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) was formed in 1952 out of a need to secure the right to equal housing opportunities, regardless of race, creed, or color. For more than 60 years, ORA has participated in meaningful legal challenges and has supported legislative initiatives that ensure the availability of fair and affordable housing for all Americans. The Ohio Realtist Association is a real estate professional trade organization. We have seven (7) local chapters across the state who embrace our ideals and mission of “promoting democracy in housing”.

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA, Inc.), is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black professionals in the accounting, finance and related business professions. Representing more than 200,000 black professionals in these fields, NABA advances people, careers, and the mission by providing education, resources, and meaningful career connections to both professional and student members, fulfilling the principle of our motto: Lifting As We Climb. The mission of the NABA Columbus is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting/finance profession as well as assist professionals in other business related professions.

Dr. Willena Brooks was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon completion of high school, she was awarded a full academic scholarship to Norfolk State University (NSU) located in Norfolk, Virginia. It was at Norfolk State University that Dr. Brooks attained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Brooks began her chiropractic studies at Life University, located in Marietta, Georgia, in 2000. Approximately two years into her studies, Dr. Brooks transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan in 2004. Rather than opening a traditional type of practice, Dr. Brooks desired to do something practically unheard of in the chiropractic profession. Rather than focusing on personal injury or family chiropractic, Dr. Brooks decided to dedicate her practice to helping women achieve optimal health & wellness. In early 2005, Dr. Brooks opened Mommy & Me Chiropractic, Ltd. in her hometown of Cincinnati. After a successful two and a half years in practice, Dr. Brooks relocated to Columbus, Ohio. In February 2009, Dr. Brooks opened ChiroCare for Women, LLC. As with Mommy & Me Chiropractic, Ltd., through ChiroCare for Women, Dr. Brooks strives to help women achieve optimal health and wellness utilizing chiropractic care and other conservative care measures. Pregnancy related structural imbalances, low back pain, and headaches are all common conditions seen in our office. Dr. Brooks has become well known due to the exclusiveness of her practice. ChiroCare for Women, LLC is the only chiropractic office dedicated exclusively to women. She is dedicated to helping women take an active role in their health and well-being. She has been an Ohio licensed Doctor of Chiropractic since 2005. She has completed many hours of continuing education classes in the areas of nutrition, wellness, and rehabilitation. Dr. Brooks is currently continuing her education to become a specialist in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. True to her practice, Dr. Brooks also strives to live a wellness lifestyle. In her spare time, Dr. Brooks enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and watching documentaries. Dr. Brooks is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
