Rooted in a legacy dating back to 1963 when visionary African American leaders in New York City began exploring ways to improve community conditions, this West Texas chapter brings that same spirit of service and excellence to Lubbock. With more than 10,000 members nationwide reaching over 125,000 youth annually, the organization demonstrates the power of positive male role modeling and community investment. The members of 100 Black Men of West Texas serve as trailblazers and role models, working tirelessly through servant leadership to help youth build character, create hope, and develop aspirations for their futures.
