SWEA International is a global organization with a unique international women's network that protects the Swedish language, Swedish culture and Swedish traditions. SWEA has approximately 6,000 members and is present on 5 continents in around 30 countries with as many as 77 branches worldwide. SWEA Dallas is part of the MAME region, Middle America, which consists of a total of 9 departments; Austin, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Florida, Houston, Michigan, Minnesota and Toronto (Canada).
SWEA Dallas has about 90 members and we organize various events, both for family and the general public, such as Easter, Valborg, midsummer and Christmas bazaars with Lucia trains.

On September 16, 2018, the Far North Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was installed as the 30th chapter of the South Central Region. Far North Dallas boasts of its 41 Chartering Mothers, 76 Children, and 37 Fathers who are all committed to strengthening and building communities by providing opportunities for all children to uncover their purpose, become leaders that influence the world, and strive for excellence in all they do.
Our theme this year is Back to BASICS: Building Authentic Systems Inside Compassionate Spaces. FND is focusing on the mission of Jack and Jill and why we are here in the first place. We can be about the business of JJ but also do it in a way that engenders love, compassion, and connection.
