The Consulate is located in downtown Minneapolis. We serve Danish citizens in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, as well as the Danish-American community and those with an interest in Denmark. The Consulate also serves as a resource for Danish companies seeking opportunities in the Midwest and for American companies seeking opportunities in Denmark.
Denmark has thirty honorary consulates located throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In addition, the honorary consulates in the Caribbean islands of Bermuda and Antigua and Barbuda are also part of the consular network.
The honorary consulates assist the Embassy and the Consulates General in New York, Chicago, Houston and Silicon Valley in consular, commercial, and cultural matters.
The Danish Consulate provides services to Danish nationals living in and visiting Southern California:

- Get emergency help if you are the victim of crime, you have been arrested or are affected by a crisis.
- Get documents certified, lists of lawyers, doctors, funeral directors and translation services.
The Danish American Center (DAC) - a center for Danish cultural exchange & Danish hygge is located in Minneapolis. The DAC is dedicated to the forwarding of anything Danish, offering a wide variety of activities & events which focus on aspects of Danish living & culture.
Founded in 1982, NDAGS is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teach the skills needed to research your Danish ancestry. We are an affiliate of the Minnesota Genealogical Society and closely affiliated with the Danish American Center.
