On December 7th, 2002, during the PGA (post graduate assembly), ten Chinese American Anesthesiologists met together. At their conversation, they found out their common interest which was to establish an organization to enhance the communication among their peers, and to serve the society in the better and higher standards.
With the effort of several months, on February 9th, 2003, Chinese American Society Of Anesthesiology was established officially.
The Chinese American Society of Anesthesiology (CASA) was established to associate and affiliate all reputable physicians and scientists of Chinese descent. We welcome all physicians and scientists who are engaged in the practice of, or research of, anesthesiology.
We act as a channel of the public voice with regards to the public health system. We make every effort to improve the standards of the specialty, to enhance the professional communication and exchange of international physicians and scientists in the field of anesthesiology. We work continuously to protect the general public and to improve the international standard of patient care and public health. It is our mission to develop and advance the specialty of anesthesiology for the general elevation of the standards of medical practice.
APALA-NJ, founded in 1985 and incorporated in 1993, is the largest specialty bar association that collectively represents the interests of Asian and Pacific American lawyers in the State of New Jersey.
As the bar association that represents one of the fastest growing minority population in the State, APALA-NJ continues to focus on ensuring greater representation of APA attorneys in various sectors of the legal profession as well as in government and the State's judiciary and embraces the following goals:
- Promote & support a positive image of Asian Americans.
- Educate members and the community about issues of critical concern to Asian Americans.

Chinese American Cultural Association (CACA), established in 1974, is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization, devoted to preservation of Chinese culture and heritage and promotion of community harmony. C.A.C.A. has more than 4000 Chinese American members in the state of New Jersey.
Chinese-American Family Coalition (CAFC) is a non-for-profit organization registered under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The agency is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes serving the general public, also cultural festivals and activities.
Starting in 2006, a small group led by Angie Ngai came together to form the Chinese Cultural Club in Fort Lee Community Center. Today, CAFC is a registered non-profit organization with Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We serve over 1,000 members of the Greater New York / New Jersey area. Our headquarters is in Englewood Cliffs NJ, and our U.S. Liaison Offices are in Beijing, Shanghai and Fujian.

OCA is a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans.

OCA is engaged in organizing its over 80 chapters and affiliates across the nation to develop both leadership and community involvement. OCA chapters and our affiliates are establishing strong local programs in all parts of the country.
OCA's headquarters in Washington, D.C. gives the OCA National Center an effective vantage point for monitoring legislation and policy issues affecting Asian Pacific Americans. In addition, OCA is able to build national support and to work in coalition with other national groups around issues affecting Asian Pacific Americans.
OCA takes no collective position on the politics of any foreign country, but instead focuses on the welfare and civil rights of Asian Pacific Americans.
