The Pauli Murray LGBTQ+ Bar Association is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to serving the LGBTQ+ legal community in North Carolina with a network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, sexual/gender diverse, and allied legal professionals who support LGBTQ+ equality and the other goals of the organization. They encourage fellowship and support the professional advancement of members of our communities. The LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast, formerly the Frank Harr Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) organization. We offer programming, advocacy, and outreach for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies in southeastern North Carolina.
On May 8, 2008, the world lost a lifelong advocate for cultural diversity and social justice, Frank Harr. In honor of his legacy, Frank's partner of 32 years, Ken Cox, founded The Frank Harr Foundation - a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The organization has provided a home for outreach, community, education, and advocacy in southeastern North Carolina. From peer support groups to elder outreach, the staff and volunteers of the Frank Harr Foundation worked tirelessly to ensure that equality, inclusion, and community were available to everyone in our region.
In mid 2021, the Frank Harr Foundation changed our name to The LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast.

OUTright Youth is the ONLY PLACE in the Catawba Valley that provides a unique, youth-centered, safe environment for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender and Questioning) youth ages 12-21, and their allies, to come together, receive unconditional support, and make friends who understand who they are as they struggle with sexual orientation, gender identity and other issues.
OUTright Youth strongly believes that it is essential to create a safe space for young people who are, who believe that they might be, or who have friends or family members who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. We offer educational programs, social activities, peer support groups and community outreach and fun!

Some of our youth are out, some are partially out, and some are not out at all. Time Out Youth Center offers a safe space for all and fully respects the journey of each individual.
