Dr. Willena Brooks was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon completion of high school, she was awarded a full academic scholarship to Norfolk State University (NSU) located in Norfolk, Virginia. It was at Norfolk State University that Dr. Brooks attained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Brooks began her chiropractic studies at Life University, located in Marietta, Georgia, in 2000. Approximately two years into her studies, Dr. Brooks transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan in 2004. Rather than opening a traditional type of practice, Dr. Brooks desired to do something practically unheard of in the chiropractic profession.
